Mi Guatemala

Mi Guatemala restaurant opens a portal to a Guatemala that does not require a passport, plane ticket, or visa documents.  Filled with long-time regulars, recent immigrants, and employees and customers who have grown up in the restaurant, Mi Guatemala hosts a rich, multi-generational community center held together through food and a little piece of Guatemala in Rhode Island.  Jenny Paiz, whose parents started the restaurant in 1994, grew up at this establishment and now runs the business with her family.
